Why we exist

The service worked. One person couldn't keep it running.

In 2022, while still training to become a driving instructor, our founder Marley Dos Santos started a theory test tuition service — study materials, one-to-one support, and help getting test-ready.

It helped 61 people pass their theory test. Learners in South London. Learners in Liverpool. It didn't matter where they were.

Then he qualified as an instructor. The diary filled with driving lessons. And the theory service — the thing that was working — had to stop. Not because it failed. Because one person can't do both.

Three years later, people still ask for it. He still has to say no.

Driving Pathways exists so that never has to happen again.

About

More than a driving school.

Driving Pathways was created to solve a problem many learners experience: a lack of structure and guidance throughout the driving licence journey.

A driving licence is much more than permission to drive. It can unlock independence, confidence and opportunity. Our role is to provide a clear pathway from the beginning of that journey through to life after passing the test.

A driving licence is the milestone. Independence is the destination.

Marley began the journey to qualify as a driving instructor in June 2022, and has been supporting learners ever since — first through theory tuition, then as a qualified ADI from 2023.
